- Leading the development of the branding and marketing strategy (including collateral development) for the MiWiFi project, a joint venture between the Departments of Natural Resources (MDNR), Information Technology (MDIT), and Transportation (MDOT), Travel Michigan, SBC Communications (NYSE:SBC) and Intel (NasdaqNM:INTC) to bring wireless broadband to Michigan’s traveling public.
- Overseeing the development and support for IT applications responsible for tracking over $300 million in state and federal monies for State of Michigan grant and loan programs.
- Leading the Inside Michigan’s Great Outdoors e-mail marketing campaign for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, a quarterly publication that currently reaches over 42,000 subscribers across the state and nation.
- Website administration and promotion for a wide range of public, private and non-profit intranet and Internet sites, including the web technology needs of the Greater Lansing Association of Realtors and their 1,800 members.
- Actively fostering relationships with local companies and organizations in efforts to further their outreach and business development efforts.
- Syndicated author of a marketing and public relations column for a national online news magazine, Matt has also authored a marketing book geared toward helping small business owners and non-profit directors.
